Adopting Ukraine

Follow us on our journey to adopt the children God has chosen for us from Ukraine. This will allow our family and friends to track our progress day by day. When we depart for Ukraine this will be our main method of keeping in touch with everyone so please bookmark our web address. We will try to update each day during our journey in Ukraine. We look forward to hearing all your comments and questions. Love, Janine & John

Well we are almost at the end of day two as a forever family. Bella is a little happier being with John and I today. She is cutting two teeth right now though and she is not having fun with the whole idea. She woke up at 8am this morning and hasn't had a nap all day so we're hoping she will sleep well tonight. We want her to be in a good mood tomorrow when she receivs her visa to oficially become a United States citizen. We are so excited about tomorrow. We've waited for this day for so long and we can't wait until we have her visa in hand.

Bella's foster family told us that she is already saying "papa' but we've yet to hear it. She is such a giggle box now though and it's so cute to hear her let out a belling rolling laugh. She loves hair and will laugh histerically if you let her grab a hand full. She also likes to honk you nose, and she is VERY VERY ticklish. Today we took her for a walk strapped to daddy's chest in her snuggli and she thought that was the best thing ever. She was grinning from ear to ear and would laugh out loud at anyone that talked to her.

Well gotta go for now. Talk to you soon.

Janine

It sounds like you guys are having a great time!! Have fun at the Embassy tomorrow. We took a pic of Brayden sleeping with his visa when we got it -- it just felt so good to finally get that last step out of the way! Have a safe trip home :)

Neen, I am so glad that Bella is with you and she sounds like she knows she is home. I can't wait to hold her, and see how much she has grown. This will be a long two weeks for us waiting to spend a week with her on the beach. Good luck today at the embassy, hope you can get it all done today and come home. Keep in touch. Love you...all three. Mom
